A bit off topic but the legendary Joe Meek tea chests tapes are being brought back to life, and some very entertaining stuff from
the lovely and affiable Glenda Collins.
Just note these are not mastered recordings so levels will be all over the place and was basically discarded or put aside stuff for another day.

Hmm! That "Dancing in the Street" really chugs along, doesn't it?

I actually like the early version of Been Invited to a Party better than the released version (which is great). Raw and smokin’!

He was thought to have left 67 tea chests full of tapes. At the inquest, the Coroner started giving them away to music schools, etc. until a businessman offered to buy the rest and kept them for years. Obviously, some have deteriorated and will sound a bit gruff as the high frequencies are the first to fall off a tape.
