Brilliant, thanks. I am tempted by Shelley and the Agatha Christie Hour, both look like great value. Luckily the one I've just bought, Pretenders (HTV Monmouth Rebellion series with Frederick Jaeger), isn't on there or I'd have kicked myself for not waiting a couple of days to order!

I enjoyed the Christies more than I thought I would. A cross between Sexton Blake and The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes! (With a hint of Wodehouse Playhouse). Makes a change from the usual Miss Marple and Poirot.

Makes a change from the usual Miss Marple and Poirot. Thanks for the info. Yes, I get a bit bored of reading Poirot, last year I read Agatha Christie's Harley Quin stories (apparently her favourites, with a hint of the supernatural), and before that Parker Pyne Investigates. A few novels where Poirot is mentioned but doesn't really show up indicates Christie herself got a bit bored of the formula. I've only seen one episode, with John Nettles. It was really excellent though, so I look forward to seeing more. I did largely enjoy Tommy and Tuppence on TV in "Partners in Crime", which didn't seem too far off the books, and this looks similar.
