Unit 4 Plus 2 were probably promoting their single "Baby Never Say Goodbye" on this edition of A Whole Scene Going, as it had been released the previous week. (Incidentally it's a fairly uninspired song and pretty much a re-write of "Concrete And Clay".)

I was the winning bidder on this until the last day – unsurprisingly, £1400 was a little rich for my blood. Fingers crossed that the print has been purchased with the intention to return (at least a scan) to the archives. There really needs to be some concerted efforts to stop these 16mm prints falling through the cracks on eBay! I fear there are too many egos involved in this scene, however.
What happened to the recent eBay appearance of the Frankie Howerd pilot on eBay? We possibly may never know...sigh...
PS: Was bloody looking forward to the potential of screening some Dudley Moore on piano!! Dammit!
