There is a Rediffusion 16mm print on Ebay. It is an edition of This Week, and ends today.

The NTFTVA (?) has a copy.
I wonder what became of the 18 year old heroin addict?
Did he kick the habit or die in the 70's?

This film is in existence at NTFTVA, along with other editions of This Week. I would probably say the later for the heroin addict. 18, sure seems like a early age to get hooked, a sad story indeed. However, the episode would be cool to see on the big screen.

I had no idea there was a heroin problem back then. I thought there was pot and lsd but not hard narcotics. I associated that more with the 70's. If you are addicted at 18 not much hope sadly.

Wasn't Sherlock Holmes addicted to heroin in the novels? I thought heroin was rife in the East End in Victorian times.

Kevin you obviously have not been watching your ITV4 ;D
last week The Saint had the 'wicked' peoples republic of China (ie Burt Kwork) trying to get the western world hooked on heroin.
this week 'The Champions' had a wicked 'rich' man trying to get young people hooked his dodgy tablets.

Missed the Saint but saw the Champions featuring Kate O'Mara.
The substance there was unspecified wasn't it? You just saw her nip to the ladies and emerge pie-eyed.
Maybe I am just niave!
