So disappointing. No free to air option outside of UK now.. Over 50 years on ABC. Guess alot of people will be "missing" episodes in the future

Might well be a blessing in disguise for people lol. Also you never know they might not of been getting the numbers to justify ABC paying for it. The series has been in decline for a long time (in hard viewing numbers) and disney plus is always hungry for more content to encourage subs to stay/sign up. The classic stuff being there to watch will be of value to many of casual fans as well as any new stuff.

I feel somewhat let down by the BBC decision having watched Doctor Who on the ABC since 1968. No such thing as loyalty. Personally I don't know anyone who subscribes to Disney+ and wouldn't expect many new subscribers due to the new worldwide distribution deal. Looks like I'm going have to wait for the blu ray release of next year's David Tennant special as I won't be signing up for Disney+.
