Amazon.co.uk currently have the book on special offer for £15.60 (I don't know how long for, as this is out of my control), so now's a good time to grab it! I've posted a full list of interviewees for both TOTP books on my website: peterchecksfield.com/top-of-the-pops/

James Warren!), Jez Bird (The Lambrettas), Chas & Dave, Joe Dolce, and I don't know the last two mugshots (Martha Johnson of Martha and The Muffins/Peter Coyle and Jem Kelly of The Lotus Eaters)
Must confess, I wouldn't have got all these myself if I hadn't spent 9 months researching them and rewatching every surviving episode! All are artists/bands who contributed to the book - or sort of, as Pete Shelley, Jez Bird, Rupert Hine and Nicky Tesco are no longer with us, and I had no luck with Ellie Hope, Phil Lewis and Anne-Marie Ruddock - but I interviewed other band members instead!

Thanks Peter.. I might be able to sleep tonight now! I had originally thought that the two guys from Wang Chung were Mike Peters and one other from the Alarm, only with less ludicrous coiffures..

They're actually a band I would have recognised before I even started on the book! Girl and The Lotus Eaters I would've struggled with, maybe a couple of more.
