The Time Tunnel & the Quantum Leap Accelerator didn't make the list.

"H.G. Wells invented one of fiction’s first time machines in his 1895 novel".
One of?
And the novella (not 'novel') was first serialised in the New Review magazine Jan.-May 1895.

Is the list in any particular order? Normally #1 is supposed to be the best, but the top 2 are the worst ones in the list.
#2 travels forward in time accidentally, with no way of controlling what time you travel to. #1 You appear in your chosen time naked, without your clothes, boots and motorcycle.

Harro Potter's didn't make the list either. Serves them right for not using it for anything cool. "H.G. Wells invented one of fiction’s first time machines in his 1895 novel". One of? And the novella (not 'novel') was first serialised in the New Review magazine Jan.-May 1895. I think there are two precursors that weren't quite fully the same thing but COULD twist the fabric of time.
