Is the list in any particular order? Normally #1 is supposed to be the best, but the top 2 are the worst ones in the list.
#2 travels forward in time accidentally, with no way of controlling what time you travel to.
#1 You appear in your chosen time naked, without your clothes, boots and motorcycle.

And the novella (not 'novel') was first serialised in the New Review magazine Jan.-May 1895. I think there are two precursors that weren't quite fully the same thing but COULD twist the fabric of time. |
