I think I recall a BBC puppets adaption of 'Pilgrims Progress' circa 1968 - 69 involving the Black theatre of Prague ? A college friend recalled a disturbing puppet of a blind man in a white robe.
The basic Pilgrim was dressed in a brimmed preachers hat and rode a horse. The whole scene was played out on a black back drop. It ran at a childrens time, tea time on Sundays but was not really a childrens programme, it was too sinister. I think 'The question why - Malcolm Muggeridge' possibly another missing show; followed it.
This was I believe another BBC Wales production. Does anyone know if anything exists of this ? I seem to recall it documented as missing in the 1980s but as various items have since been found in regional archives I wondered if anything had turned up, or any clips ?
I believe there were some clips on shows like 'Junior points of view' repeated, but as the Archive for those is very limited, I take it at least that source would be depleted.
