I’ve been researching the infamous Newcastle band 'The Go-Go’s', solely known for their flop 1964 Christmas record ‘I’m Gonna Spend My Christmas With A Dalek'. I’ve been sent a Newcastle Evening Chronicle article dated 3/4/1965 by Roger Smith who runs the excellent Ready Steady Gone site about Newcastle music in the 60s. It brings a lot to my research, with a bit saying they had already appeared on the shows Discs A GoGo, Ready Steady Go and Saturday Club, is anyone aware of this and do recordings survive?
