I have recently heard a rumour that a potentially broadcast quality master of the Callan episode "Blackmailers Should Be Discouraged" may exist in the hands of a private collector in the North West. Reportedly the collector is attempting to sell the print. I don't want to get anybody's hopes up as it may turn out to be nothing but rumours and I'm somewhat sceptical but I'm attempting to make contact with the collector in question. If anything comes of it, I'll let you know.
Regards, Tony Goodman.

In the North-West? It's not Darren Gregory by any chance, is it?

Keep us all in the picture, Anthony (one way or the other). I'm a big Callan fan myself!

No it's not Darren Gregory, it's a collector from the Wirral.
I'll keep everyone informed but as I say, don't get your hopes up until I find out more.

Okay - good luck with this one Anthony. It's a great series and would be good to see another one of these found...
Would also like to see some more early "Public Eye" found...
