Pallets of original 2" video tape reels and 16mm kinescopes arriving at the Skelton museum in Indiana. An amazing haul. youtu.be/CoSfgezHZGg"The Red Skelton Museum of American Comedy got a shipment of films and videos from the Red Skelton vault 4/23/2020. It is a mix of master tapes from the TV show 1962-1971, 16 mm episodes from the 1951-1962, home movies and more. Goal would be to digitize them and to release them to the public. This will take time and funding. We will work on it." (Posted in April 2020. 297 views). Maybe they need to tag this a little better!

A lot of these seem to now say "This live event is no longer available."
Enjoyed the Munsters/Kramer & Dakotas one... Herman fronting the Dakotas for one number is a dream never to come true though.
There should be an episode with a historic appearance by the group Sweetwater that aired about when singer Nansi Nevins was in an accident that damaged her vocal chords badly... either going to watch the show when broadcast or leaving from having watched, I can't remember which.

The shows with The Stones, The Kinks, The Animals, and Fred Gwynne (Herman Munster) with Kramer & The Dakotas are still available if you do a search on the Red Skelton Museum YouTube site. It's great to see them there, as these episodes weren't in the Red Skelton Time Life DVD box set. Had they been, they probably would have been edited, also.

Off the top of my head stuff as doug's book is not with me! the Kinks one is interesting. Got shown in the UK but well after the original transmission date. But if you liked pop fans would make great efforts to see their fav groups in whatever form possible.

January 25, 1966 featuring The Supremes, this was supposed to be the debut of their next single, "Mother Dear" whose release was cancelled at the last minute, and replaced with "Nothing But Heartaches".
