Any info on the status of this show? It was shown in the very early 1980's by the BBC (a reapeat I think) but I have heard nothing of it since.

it was first shown in about 1974, I think, and certainly featured Terry Gilliam from Monty Python explaining how he did his animations. It was this programme that inspired me to start making short animations on super-8 film. I still have the BBC book somewhere....

Any info on the status of this show? It was shown in the very early 1980's by the BBC (a reapeat I think) but I have heard nothing of it since. First shown 21/4/74 to 19/5/74, last repeated in 1982. All five episodes still exist on VT, in fact there were re-edited repeat versions of episodes 1-2 and 4-5, and these exist as well as the original versions.

Thanks for the info. It's quite possible I first saw it in 1974 when I was first getting into making films.
Isn't it strange that with all the technology available to us now there have never have been fewer shows about film making?
