Without mentioning any names because he gets upset if you download his videos, on youtube I noticed a clip of Terry Jacks 'If you go away' an insert from TOTP'S at the time of the technicians strike in 74 and I was wondering if there were any other such inserts made at the time of the strike that have never been shown.

Why not post the link? If someone gets the hump because a video is shared then they shouldn't upload it to youtube in the first place.

He's taken it off now I've got it as a VLC media file but I've no idea how to post it on here.

Incidently Al, a couple of seconds of the insert was used in the countdown on the TOTP episode after the strike ended, when it had slipped down to No 24 in the Charts:

It is an interesting subject to talk about as the strike did go on for a couple of months and it's interesting to know the performances that probably would have been shown if there hadn't been a strike. As well as being damaging for artists sales-wise (something Spencer James from The First Class touches on in my TOTP book), it was also in my opinion the beginning of the end for Glam Rock.
