Dear all,

A few new (to me at least) clips of TOTP have turned up on You Tube.

Badfinger - album spot clip with with Savile in a mask intro www.youtube.com/watch?v=E12BvGD5cGo 14th January 1971 It has applause but Savile's mic is mute.

Marvin Gaye - Abraham Martin and John www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9Ta2hO6O28 looks like a Caravel film, possibly 28th May 1970

Bob and Marcia - Young Gifted and Black www.youtube.com/watch?v=8O8mO0TQ_sA looks like a Caravel film, possibly 2nd April 1970

Nicky Thomas - Love of The Common People www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXF5AYXLI4o looks like a Caravel film, possibly 9th July 1970

Nicky Thomas is the only new one to me, though I must admit I find most of these Caravel films terrible, and used very few for screen shots in my TOTP book.

My favourite performance is the so-bad-it's-good 'The Man From Nazareth' by John Paul Joans... absolutely nothing to do with The Man From Led Zeppelin of course!

I've got the TOTP book, but I won't see it until Christmas, so don't give away the ending! I've actually found the 14th Jan 1971 in my collection, so it's not new to me afterall...
