Can anyone confirm whether the English narrated soundtrack is the BBC one? I assume it is?

Bound to be; there is no other. In fact, the description is very similar to Network's old DVD networkonair.com/all-products/546-singing-ringing-tree-the (which even has the foreign audio tracks although they are not referenced, as well as the BBC version). I could do without the cropped 'widescreen theatrical version', though; it's not clear that you can watch the full-frame version in German (with or without subtitles), so I won't be hurrying to upgrade.

Oh that's nasty if cropped to widescreen and a bit bizarre. I am interested in having it for the English fullscreen version.
