Dad's Army from the early seventies won't be particularly interesting: the only eps that don't survive are three eps from the second series ('68 or '69? Don't know offhand...) Anyway, tapes from the early seventies are very interesting indeed, there's lots and lots missing from that era. Dad's Army is a real success story, as far as archive status is concerned. :-)

However series such as A for Andromeda, Caves of Steel, Doctor Who, Out of The Unknown, Dads Army, Doomwatch, Ace of Wands, Avengers, Out of this World. The list goes on and on, however, we should be thankfull for what we have to enjoy of said series. That is if some are ever released.
Regarding the TV material, I would try to get some title information, episode titles ect.. on said material.Then posters here and experts will be able to identify said material.
