From their latest email:
“Noel has found episodes on 16mm of a ‘lost’ TV series, starring a young Dennis Waterman in an early television role. The Barnstormers made in 1964 was believed to have been completely wiped and missing, but will be coming to a small screen near you very soon!”

A search seems to confirm that it’s all considered lost.
Dunno how many parts - seems eleven episodes were made - have been found.
Looks like TPTV have genuinely hit the jackpot.

from William's A-R/Reddifusion thread: Number 227 The Barnstormers here is an outline, on-line, storyline.. Five teenagers form their own theatre group called The Tudor Players and while searching for a suitable venue on which to perform they happen across an old watermill. It's rumoured that this was once the favourite haunt of an old pirate and that he hid his treasure there. So the children begin to explore and discover that the mill is full of hidden corridors and trapdoors. But time is against them because a local property developer has also heard the stories of hidden treasure Joy Thwaites wrote 10 episodes and Henry Soskin wrote the other and is also a cast member. And the players do manage to put on their show in the final episode. I hope that prints, or digitised versions, can find their way into the NFTVA or somewhere similar.

There was a 1953 children's book by M.E.Atkinson 'The Barnstormers' about kids running a theatrical troupe. Don't suppose this was based on it?
