It must be because B.B.C.-2 repeated it in the '90's. One of Colin Welland's earliest plays, I believe. Scared the life out of me when it was first broadcast because of its brutal depiction of school bullying. My heart went out to the young boy being picked on constantly by homophobic thugs. Clive Swift headed the cast.
