4Extra have just finished an almost complete run of this series, but they didn't broadcast Series 3, eps 11, 12 & 14. Do they not have those 3 episodes?
I noticed some episodes have had parts edited in from a lesser quality (off-air) source. Presumably they used transcription versions which are always shorter, and re-instated the missing material. I wonder if they maybe have off-airs for the missing 3 but not a corresponding transcription version, and didn't want to inflict a whole half hour of lesser sound quality on the listeners?

These eps. are available from a private site ... That's because 4Extra has aired all of them (apart from the 3 I mentioned) within the last year. The extra ep10 is from series 1. They were aired in the correct order but they've cocked up the listing on the site. Going by the quoted length of "25 hrs and 23 mins" that's also missing 3 episodes.

Sounds like the PC oiks have been at it again. We had that issue with Lines ... sketches deleted that are now deemed to be offensive.

Stephen, you and I extensively analysed 'Lines..' (from my Grandfather's Forehead) on this forum and privately, and found absolutely no evidence of anything being withheld for PC reasons. The 3 episodes plus 1 small sketch which are not broadcast by 4 Extra are down to rights issues, as Keith Wickham confirmed.
On the other hand, you never know, because what 4 Extra actually censors continues to amaze me. I noticed that a recently started run of King St Junior began with episode 2, presumably because episode 1 involves flu going around, something that we would all currently find too upsetting!

Well the Lines.... transcription discs still need digitising. But I reckon the fat girl(s) of Belfast sketch might have been an item removed for being un-PC!!
Meanwhile the next challenge it to locate the 3 episodes from Shout eps. 11, 12 & 14.

That's KSJ Revisited, the reboot series started in 2002. The first episode of KSJ from 1985 is of course not at all 'lost' and has been broadcast many times on 4 Extra.

Assorted people assert that all episodes are in the archive, but I suspect they are mostly just copying each other's scripts and there's a lack of pudding offered to eat for proof. The Radioechoes episodes are from series 1, I think.
