It’s a much missed, long sought after “epic”, yes, The Missing Episodes Podcast is back from the junking pile. This is the first of two episodes looking at the twelve-part Season 3 story, “The Daleks’ Master Plan.”In part one, Paul and Tim are joined by the brilliant Gav Rymill. Gav, a man of many talents, is well known for his work in Doctor Who related graphic design and for being one of the two men behind the phenomenally successful “Dalek 63:88.” Gav leads the team on a deep dive into the origins of the story, what might have been, what the heck was going on the with casting of companions and reveals, for perhaps the first time, whose nipples feature in DMP. There’s a veritable Volcano of facts, more to chew on than at The Feast of Steven, (sp) and despite the long recording session, we hope we avoided The Destruction of Rym-ill.So welcome, delegates and please enjoy Gav’s wonderful insights into this mostly missing classic. www.podbean.com/eu/pb-36iw7-fdb8f1 youtu.be/Tjv2WUKAzIs podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/doctor-who-the-missing-episodes-podcast/id1507481141Fantastic news! What a great start to the day - this is going straight on!! Great to have you back!

Like London buses... Season 8 on Blu-ray is upon us, so in a bonus episode of The Missing Episodes Podcast, it’s off to The Slaughtered Lamb The Cloven Hoof to meet four people who helped with the latest restoration of The Daemons. Once upon a time, 4 of the 5 episodes of The Daemons were only known to exist on black and white 16mm film, and while standing on the shoulders of giants (figuratively), Kieran Highman, Ant Lamb, Gav Rymill and Rich Tipple talk about their contributions to the latest version of that most renowned of Pertwee adventures. So be a devil and join us as we ponder where technology has led us and where it may lead us in the future of restoration. If you enjoy this podcast, we ask that you share it on social media to help us find our audience (and a nice iTunes review is very welcome!) Tim is on Twitter @drwhopodcasters and please do come and like our Facebook page. PodbeanYoutubeiTunes

To tide you over to the next PodCast, Tim joined the crew at the Dalek 63-88 PropCast over the recent christmas break for chats about various topics but mainly surrounding "The Feast of Steven" & "Volcano" episodes from DMP. Great listen! You can grab it on various places, but I listened to it here on YouTube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXsPrsF2tn8

Well we’re beavering away to get this up and going again. DMP2 will be out on 2nd July with a very deep dive into the attempted Australia sale, the Australian censor process, what the censors didn’t like and the recovery of what we have. Our guests (Jon Preddle, Gav Rymill and Rhys Williams were brilliant!) I’ve got The Massacre and The Celestial Toymaker recorded too, and we’re booked up all the way to Christmas! As a bit of fun we’re doing some live podcasts over on YouTube. The second of which is tomorrow night: the top 10 most wanted stories with missing episodes. Gav and Anthony Lamb will be guesting. You can subscribe and set a reminder below. Part one is up there and as you’ll see, it’s quite interactive. Glad to be back doing these and hope to see some of you tomorrow. youtu.be/dzVHMWbNLIw

Just watched that, and I note that it says that Paul V thinks a couple of episodes might exist in Iran. Does anyone know which ones, just out of interest (I won't goad Paul into answering that himself - busy man that he is :-)) ?

Podbean and iTunes aren’t monetised: in fact we pay to have it there. YT can earn, but it is literally <£10 so far for the entire channel’s output. The best way to help is to leave a review on apple podcasts. Thanks again, it’s appreciated.
