Saturday 4 July 1970 21.30Disco 2 Introduced by Tommy Vance
A special programme featuring songs from Self Portrait, the latest Bob Dylan album. The 24 tracks on the two-record set range from live recordings at the Isle of Wight Festival last year to an unexpected performance of a Rodgers and Hart song.
This one has been bugging me for a few weeks.
Heard an advert for it on a Kenny Ev Radio 1 show.
I wonder how much was from the Isle of Wight?
The rock and roll years ago showed some colour footage. The one that show Ringo and John and their wives watching Bob.
Then there's the press conference footage.
And French tv did some filming.
Nobody had heard the phrase contractual obligation album back the, But that's why it was a double apparently.
I listened to the album once, borrowing a copy from Brum Central library and that was enough for me1
Anybody out there remember the show? Some remember the Beatles one, so you never know!
