And now 'Carrie Anne' from Colour Me Pop has turned up on the 192 channel too, tho like Stop Stop Stop overdubbed with the record rather than the original audio: most notable when it cuts to a violinist for the solo whereas the record uses steel drums!

Was The Hollies appearance thought lost? It was lost until Kaleidoscope found it in director Steve Turners collection in 2015/6.

So did someone from Kaleidoscope leak this stuff or how did that 192 channel get a hold of it? And what is their story anyway? What are their sources or what archive have they got access to? Cheers.

Kal licenced the footage out to 192, it's all above board AFAIK. 192 is a Dutch 'Oldies' TV channel: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/192TV

Hi Folks, Is it possible to get the 192 channel here in the U.K. ? Yes it is. linkIt is superb. The quality is wonderful and the range of clips incredible. We know our stuff but some of the clips make me think, where the hell did that come from. loads of Top of the pops, beatclub, hits a go go etc Right now I'm watching a monochrome promo for the Buckinghams Kind of a Drag. Amazing! If you have streamed tv you can get it that way too.

I finally received The Hollies 'Colour Me Pop' DVD yesterday (released by Kaleidoscope some months back), and it is wonderful! Considering the age of the footage, both picture and audio are really outstanding.
If I've any criticism, it's the actual performance (NOT the producers of this DVD's fault): Despite the presence of Graham Nash, it has the slickness and the middle-of-the-road feel of the 1969 BBC TV special with Terry Sylvester, complete with matching suits and orchestration. A long way from the dynamism of 'NME Poll Winners Concert' 1964, 'Beat Club' 1966, 'Beat! Beat! Beat!' 1967 and (to a lesser extent) Croatia 1968.
That said, this is money well-spent! I just hope that if they release any further DVDs they vastly improve their customer service.
Thank you to all those who worked on it, including this forum's own Mr. Reinstein and Mr. Smith.
