Hi all Have just got a free DVD of the 1966 World Cup Final, saying its 'the most complete version from the BBC archive'. I always thought this was complete on b/w 405 line VT, although I have seen some clips from 16mm T/R before. It states the running time as 113 mins. Obviously the whole game plus extra time and all the ceremonials at beginning and end should add up to about 135 mins. What's missing and what happened to the missing footage.
All the best Mark

I recorded a BBC showing on 2 June 1990 which was listed in the Radio Times to last 2hrs 20mins but turned out to be just under 2hrs. Both halves and extra time were edited but it included the teams coming out and the scenes afterwards.
