The missing episodes list - is it complete or are there other shows missing that haven't been mentioned.
For instance:
Do all episodes still exist of:
That Was The Week That Was (1962) The Frost Report (1966) BBC 3 (1965) The Magic Boomerang (1965)
Now, also, a special mention of the last show. The original series of The Magic Boomerang was made in Australia in 1965. However, there were later series (a remake) of which no mention is made in IMDB but I remember because I was looking forward to seeing the original series again when I saw it listed but instead they showed a remake and what I felt was an inferior version - there were two seasons of this new version. Noone seems to know anything about it. I can't find any mention of it on the net. I think these later series might have been made in England instead of Australia, the location felt different but I'm not sure - I was pretty young after all. They were shown here in New Zealand in about 1972 I think. Anyone here know what I'm talking about?

I remember the original Magic Boomerang in the UK, but cannot recal a sequel.

The sequel had a different setting - I think it was caravan park. There was some guy with a moustache and a yound boy (NOT Tom). The young boy used the boomerang but the man with the moustache knew about it. I remember being disappointed when watching it, thinking it was inferior to the original but my judgement may have been clouded because you know how you get attached to the original characters and it's not the same when they're replaced.

The missing episodes list is drawing attention to some of the main missing shows but there are many others too (have you got a week to spare?) Not all editions of those shows you mention exist (although many do). I expect all of The Magic Boomerang does though, being made on film. I recall the original series from the '60s myself but didn't know about a sequel.

TW3 - all the episodes exist except the first of two untransmitted pilots, and the first reel of the first ever episode. Plus there is one episode where the first few minutes are missing.
BBC3 - fourteen episodes exist, and eight are junked.
Frost Report - all the first series exists, plus one from series 2 (and some clips), and the Montreaux Festival special "Frost Over England"

Thanks.
Who do we persuade to try to get "The Magic Boomerang" out on DVD? Also "The Adventures Of The Sea Spray"?

Ah, my mistake here; I was looking at the old Kal guide which only lists holdings for series 1 plus 2 eps of series 2. Good that they virtually all exist though.

They exist. But will we ever see them, that's the point!

Yes The Adventures of the Seaspray was like 'Star Trek' to our 'Orlando' which was 'Dr Who' in production values. Orlando spent its time around the London docks, but the Seaspray supposidly cut the waves around Fiji.
many are really surprised that a company like Umbrella has not tried to revive these great old Oz serials.
The Seaspray was originally a Screengems (Top Cat etc) production so there should be no problem in finding it.

Well some episodes of Adventures of the Seaspray in B&W 16mm have been offered in various sales lists.
I bought one myself a few years ago at the BFFC.
