Don't worry the above title is not a nightmare movie!
I was recently thrilled when you guys solved my childhood memory on Jackanory Playhouse so I thought I would see if anyone can shed any light on another memory.
I remember, again in the mid seventies, Thora Hird reading a story over a week (but I am certain it was NOT Jackanory) which involved some dwarfs who lived underground.
The programme had a very distinctive theme tune that used to appear in another seventies programme (I think!).
Any thoughts?
