I have a canonicity scale that I once explained to fans of a show where the fandom often wrote better stories than the writers and that I am too embarrassed to admit writing fan fiction for.
IMHO, this comes in as "semi-canonical" to "basically canonical" -- kind of where I slot "that short with Colin Baker and Janet Fielding that shall not be named because of the presenter".
