Taped in the UK for Canadian broadcast circa November 1966, here's Gerry and The Pacemakers performing "Girl On A Swing" (about 10.30 into the film):

This is notable for several reasons:
(a) All of the many (at least 26) 1963-1966 TV appearances currently circulating are in black & white. So this is quite possibly the only surviving colour footage of the original band.
(b) This is almost certainly the last surviving clip of the band prior to their split.
(c) I've only ever seen one other performance of "Girl On A Swing", & that's from a gig-only DVD of a Canadian show in 2013!
So, priceless footage imo (would've made a great conclusion to the "It's Gonna Be Alright" DVD). |

Great footage Kev, thanks (though sad that they were already deemed pretty much a nostalgia act!). I knew about their appearance on the show but forgot it was available.
