I was checking out something online and I've come across this German Pop Show, which personally I have never heard of. All the clips featured from German pop shows I've seen on Youtube has been from The Beat Club, Beat Beat Beat, Disco or Musikladen. I'm curious if any footage from 4-3-2-1 Hot and Sweet exists in the German archives or with private collectors. Thanks www.imdb.com/title/tt1090290/?ref_=tt_ov_inf

I believe it was the direct predecessor of Disco, with Ilja Richter co-presenting for its last couple of years. I think the version I heard was that it was lost rather than junked - something to do with relocating. But I may have that wrong.

Anybody any idea of which groups or solo artists from the U.K. featured in this pop show? if so it might help with research?

Tyrannosaurus Rex appeared twice: 14/9/68 and 3.12.68. It's unknown what they performed and neither survive. One or two stills exist, including one with the duo performing amongst a large toy monster - presumably supposed to be a T.Rex but it looks more like a big snake. As I understand it, pretty much all episodes were wiped.

The Zombies were also on. There is a picture in one of the Zombies CD boxsets (took a picture when in my friends record store because it was clearly from this show but can't find it) with a black and white picture of the band in the same location as The Doors famous footage. Also this Bowie picture was posted on the 2nd of this month on a facebook group I belong to. imgur.com/2WaNTJ1

Such a shame that the show is virtually all missing - Quite a few British acts made appearances - A few screenshots I found Attachments:

There are 100's of colour and black and white pics available online. Incredible selection of acts from the sublime to the ridiculous. I'm amazed this show is mostly lost.

Who's that in the bottom picture? I want to say Kiki Dee but fear that I could be completely wrong!
