Potentially of interest to fans of some of the more abstract sounds to come out of the BBC radiophonic workshop (Delia Derbyshire etc) and electronic music in general. A very good label with a very varied output of contemporary electronic/ concrete/ acousmatic music, which if you like this sort of sound, will probably be of interest. Have a look at their site if it may be your thing: www.empreintesdigitales.com/en/accueilSome of the label's releases also come out in HD surround sound for the extra immersive experience if you have the kit to play it back properly. Enjoy!

In this vein, you should see some of the credits for the composers of music in Doctor Who; they are quite a distinguished list. Several have studied with greats like Benjamin Britten and Pierre Boulez. Neat piece of trivia: Paul McCartney has a recording of "Carnival of Light" from 1967. It was recorded with the rest of the Beatles plus Peter Zinovieff (made the synthesizer used by several British Progressive Rock bands), Brian Hodgson, and Delia Derbyshire. It was initially going to be on Anthology II, but George Harrison vetoed it. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carnival_of_Light
