Nah, I just finished the script for the new pilot:
Synopsis........
'Dr Sad', being the story of a Doctor Who fan who just can get on with girls. It's a typical story of just one lost soul trying to impress a Girly with a quick flash of a growing DVD collection, or a framed Weetabix card. But.....suddenly romance blossoms when he is introduced to other fans who meet every week in the 'Rainbow Lounge'.

is this series still archived i wonder? If this is the American cartoon I would probably say yes. I remember seeing it last in the late 70' or early 80's.

Deputy Dawg was made by Terrytoons between 1959 and 1973. Copyright owners are Twentieth Century Fox.

Deputy Dawg was made by Terrytoons between 1959 and 1973. Copyright owners are Twentieth Century Fox. So they're owned by The Evil One (Murdoch). Sad to hear about that. The good news is that Oberman celebrated Countdown's third year with a retrospective of O'Riley's fatwa against him. Funny stuff as usual. And as a bonus, he named Neal Boortz as today's "Worst Person in the World". I'm sure Neal will be proud of that one. He's the kind of guy who wears that stuff like it was the Medal of Honor. I'm getting off post and going off on American tangents, oh well...

is this series still archived i wonder? A number of episodes of DD have been released on DVD (along with an assortment of Popeye, Mr Jaw, Pink Panther and Looney Tunes, etc) by Magna Pacific, an Australian DVD distributor. The eps were contained in a 5 volume series called Cartoon Hall of Fame. Here's a link to the catalogue: www.magnapacific.com.au/index.cfm?action=dsp_search&keyword=Cartoon+hall+of+fame&genreID=&mm=&yy=Quality-wise, the DD eps range from abominable (colour all washed-out) to superb. Channel 4 repeated it around 1994 so "its possibullll" it still exists. ;D I taped one of these transmissions on VHS as I recalled the 1965 to 69 BBC showings as a kid. Its one of those cartoons which tended to completely disappear for years (like 'Pixie and Dixie') then suddenly reappear. Rest assured at least I've got that one as a potential DVD transfer. Wonder how many other cases there are (i.e. 1966 'Batman' series); where successive transmissions or masters lose quality? In the case of the aforementioned, the series suddenly had it's 'Lost in space' 'same time, same channel..' end voiceovers excised by the U.K. 1975 - 76 ITV showings. Channel 4 or ITV then showed hideous copies in the late 1980s which looked as though the film prints had been copied over to poor quality U.S. 525 line videotapes. I recall the Channel 4 93 - 95 (?) showings of 'Batman' were nice quality vision again (film stock) but can't recall if the last showings had the ending quote restored?

Poster not you? But do you have to mark each old thread individually, wasting everyone's time? It isn't the same spelling as your name either :-)
