Sad news, indeed. He was great as Penley in The Ice Warriors, and absolutely marvelous as Cleggy in LOTSW. My kids, naturally, knew him as Wallace, and they are heartbroken today. Rest in Peace, Sir, and thank you for all the wonderful memories.

It would be nice if this week's episode of Doctor Who, which features the Ice Warriors, were to include a dedication to Peter Sallis at the end.
