Assuming we remove the random episode showing up from the picture (which is probably the most likely find), the only one know existing recently was web 3, so I agree with the opinions thinking that direction, if I had to pick the next likely possibility, then I would pick snowman or wheel as they were closest to web/wheel in Nigeria so its possible phil might be onto them. however there is no guarantee we will find anything. These shows haven't been broadcast for over 40 years, they have been searched for for 40 years. And the amount of prints made is miniscule. Hi George, I never thought of it like that before - there is another missing episode out there and its Web 3. Warms the cockles of the heart that does..

For sure Phil will have been to Singapore and many other TV Stations that may seem futile for us mere mortals. Not necessarily because he hopes to discover lost Who but also to check records relating to the bicycling system. We know he has found documentation in Africa that relates to the quest. Also he has spoken first hand to people who have given him invaluable information..
Also Phil HAS discovered at least one item that has primed the fuses ready for 'exploding the doors' on received wisdom. 'The Sky at Night' 'Moonbases' episode. No amount of phone calls would have found that instalment.
So whilst the reveal of a large cache of missing Who would be (and hopefully will be) revealed, I'm just enjoying the ride and looking forward to hearing anything more about this incredible endeavour.

He did that with Enemy/Web too as I'm pretty sure they were just in some random cupboard at Jos and the people running the station had no idea it was there. You never would have got that phoning up.

Absolutely ! There had already been several recoveries/returns from Nigeria and there were a few naysayers but he proved that it's sometimes best to trust but verify.

Exactly, if you're in some baking hot old station working for a minuscule wage and some bloody westerner phones asking if you have any 50 year old crap lying around and you can't be bothered to dig through the foreboding cupboard filled with 16mm tapes, of course you're just going to deny you have any if you're lazy which I imagine was the case in many instances.
