Hello Again,
I was just wondering if anyone could help me ? I am just wondering where and when the 2006 Missing Belived Wiped convention will be held this year ? And, how much would tickets cost ? And, usually when will the list of titles to be shown be revealed to the populace ? If anyone can help me here, it would be appreciated.
Thanks, Lance.

London, probably late November/early December. Tickets on sale possibly a couple of months before. List of screenings will depend on what's recovered, I expect. (Though if AfA isn't shown I'll be very surprised...)

Lance also if you interested , the Kaleidescope organisation has missing believed wiped style events about 4 times a year near Birmingham . The entry fee is at your discretion, as it contributes towards a lifeboat charity.
check out their website for the dates and programme schedule

MBW admission is the current NFT price at the time of the event, usually when there are 2 programs on the day there is a reduced price for people attending both. Price for NFT members is £1 less than for non-members.

Two recoveries and we are only three months into the new year, and the fantastic audio recovery. This year is looking to be a good time for further recoveries. Say, if by the end of this year there were a ton of missing material found, how would the BFI decide what to screen at Missing Melived Wiped ? What is the general basis behind thier decisions in this matter ? Just wondering.
Lance.

From past years I would think that if there is a large ammount available they would pick two genres (Comedy, drama, Documentary etc) and have two themed showings.
Dick Fiddy would know a lot more about chosing criteria.

MBW this year will indeed be late November or early December. Obviously the programme isn't finalised yet but the two sci-fi discoveries would certainly be favourites for inclusion if they haven't already been exposed elsewhere. Also firmly expected to be in the line-up is Rendezvous a 1950s ITV drama starring Patrick McGoohan

So, if it will probably be held in late november, early december. Then do they normally decide around that time what they should show? Just wondering.
Thanks, Lance.
