"Where does the Lost in Time boxset go?" Wherever it flippin' well wants-in time or space! In time and space? Yes!

I have it at the end of The War Games and before Spearhead. It is an addendum to the Hartnell and Troughton era for me. Though as someone else said, as it was originally released in a special box, it doesn't quite blend in with the rest of the collection.

My LiT is stored after 'The War Games' as I think it provides a fitting coda to the B&W era and reminds me of what was lost.

In my case, between series 8 and 9 of the new series, i.e. between Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi. The reason for this, however, is purely that I have small shelves there and if I arrange them any other way, it doesn't fit.

The reason for this, however, is purely that I have small shelves there and if I arrange them any other way, it doesn't fit. That is more or less the same with me. My shelf is basically a vertical rectangle, with about 4-5 rows fitting about 7-8 DVDs on each. I've placed Lost in Time on top of the Hartnell row, purely for space reasons - however, if I had a bigger shelf, I would probably put it between The Tenth Planet and (soon to be) The Power of the Daleks.

After The Web Planet, before The Space Museum. It's The Crusade with extras ever since The Moonbase came out individually as far as I'm concerned.

The Lost in Time boxset is out of date now in my opinion, especially with the WOF and EOTW finds.Releases such as LIT and Richard Molesworth's Wiped are snapshots of the current BBC Dr Who archives and as such become irrelevant when new finds are made. Also, as stories continue to be animated such as the current POTD release then LIT becomes a curio, especially as it contains no contemporary linking material which made JNT's 90s video releases, such as Daleks-the Early Years and Hartnell Years so wonderful.

Oh,and for some reason the BBC decided to have an image of an ageing Troughton from the 1980s in the releae's 2nd Dr disc menu, rather than representing him in his 1960s prime.I always thought was a wierd choice of image.

Mine are in a stack of items I can't get rid of but serve little purpose. I made DVDs for all the missing stories and made cases that look like the actual releases so it looks like a complete collection (even though some only have recons within). Search and you can find all sorts of ready made DVD covers to print.

I put it after The War Games. It seems like the natural spot: end of the B&W era without anything really to place it. I treat it like The Doctor had an incomplete memory of the episodes while he was regenerating.
