This has been a recurring problem on several websites and it appears to be affecting this website as well. When browsing on a mobile device through Google Chrome sometimes an advert appears that exploits a flaw in the browser. It redirects the user from the page they are currently on to a page threatening that the user has a virus and the only way to get rid of it is to download an app. I've taken precautions to avoid this affecting me but others may fall victim. If you are affected by this please close your browser immediately and wipe the data on the browser app. Most of the time the app is innocent but the marketing method is morally dubious, do not fall for this. The link I fell foul of is as follows, do not go to this link I am only doing this so that whoever is in charge of the site's ad system can identify and remove it. g9i.sevmob.com/tracker/creative_c?campaign_id=1198&publisher_id=545&sub_id1=580cf709a5f2f987748408&sub_id3=TD_UShttp%3A%2F%2Fkentonline.co.ukPlease delete the URL or the whole post once this has been passed on to the correct person but if one ad got in others may have too so the warning may be useful. Apologies if this should have gone somewhere else, I could not see a way to report the ad directly.

There's a link at the bottom of every page that is labelled "Report Ad". It takes you to this page: ads.proboards.com/ad-report.htmlYou can report the ad from there...

I use adblock. I realise there's a message saying "Please consider supporting this website by disabling your ad-blocker.", but ads on this site and elsewhere are so unbelieveably obnoxious that they're staying blocked. When ads are a simple jpg that I can choose to click or not click then i'll consider unblocking them, but while sites continue to use flash and scripts for their ads they're staying blocked.
