Interviewed by David Stead at the National Film Theatre in December 1988, this lovely chat with actor Edmund Warwick becomes the first video on Hidden Tiger's new You Tube channel. Thanks to David Stead for allowing it to be shared, and for not biting my head off for having mislaid this recording for more than 20 years!!! Enjoy! There are a few more interviews to follow.

Charming interview and this lovely actor seems to have turned up in quite a few of British TV's classic series. Enjoyed this and thanks for sharing. Having found a missing tape, what lessons can Alan give to our missing episode hunters?

The lesson learned is mine, and that is to properly label things and remember / catalogue what I have!

Friday's interview was of Laurence Payne, chatted to by a very nervous young me. And he was so sweet and charming.
Saturday's upload was something a little different!

A sunny interview for a sunny day... Martin Doherty chats to the marvellous Sophie Aldred in Greenwich Park, recorded on 22nd August 1988. I was official photographer on the day and remember it fondly. Sophie was absolutely lovely and fun to spend some time with.
Enjoy!

Another day, another interview! Today it's the turn of John Levene, who is interviewed by myself and Stephen Watts. Well, I say interviewed... we just sat there and he interviewed himself. John was very much on form at the convention that we recorded this at - DoctorCon in 1988, held at the University of Essex, Colchester, and he's very lively in the interview, which also contains a surprise intruder. Enjoy!

I forgot to mention Monday's interview, which was EXCELLENT!!! David Banks talks to Martin Holder way back when electric blue jackets were the height of fashion.

Today's interview dates from August 1987 and focuses on Nabil Shaban, who we interviewed at the Leisure Hive IV convention in Swindon. I've been able to present this interview in extended form having been able to go back to the original camera tape in this instance, and I'm sure people will agree that what Nabil has to say easily justifies the 34 minute duration - it's all fascinating and thought-provoking stuff.
I am grateful to Nabil for his agreement that this recording can be shared on You Tube.

Friday's blast from the past comes from the DoctorCon convention, way back in August 1988. The interviewee this time is Nicholas Courtney, much loved and much missed, then such a staple of the convention scene to the extent that you'd swear there was a team of Courtneys doing the rounds of the events. Conventions just aren't the same without this wonderful man. The interviewer here is Martin Doherty.

So John Levene was bonkers even back then..!
Thanks for sharing these, Alan - I particularly liked the Laurence Payne one. Very sad that he seemed to feel as though acting was beyond him by then..

Something very silly that I filmed in 1989...
In case anyone is in need of a cheer-up today!
