You may remember a few weeks ago that we teased some new footage that had been found. Well here is it! Thank you to Richard Latto of BBC Radio Solent for giving me an exclusive preview!

The clip features Dalek One visiting the Guildhall in Southampton in May 1966 where the BBC were demonstrating colour TV to the public. You can clearly see damage to the neck and the gun falling from its socket!

NB. I was, of course, fully aware that there is plenty of Dalek footage from the 1960s, I was being specific to this period

Funnily enough,I've got a memory from the late 60s of seeing a rude Daleks clip,or something,at school.Vague,or what? Maybe a careers talk? We sometimes had unusual visitors in class-diplomats or trade delegates from an African country I remember...
I'd have thought that we were shown the Tom Baker clip,except that it would've been too early...and there wasn't a TV in the classroom,let alone a VCR! Presumably the former could have been wheeled in,but the latter? Burble.Burble.Not very helpful,is it?
