I've only seen a couple of episodes of this 50s court drama, but loved them both, so delighted to see three more recoveries announced by Tim Disney. Boyd Q.C. - Hit and Run. (Complete) 4/3/1957 The Old Flame (Complete) 31/5/1961 TR35/0I/ID/470 Boyd Q.C - (Unidentified) (First few minutes missing) This appears to be either The Samurai Killing - TX 17/2/1959 or Death On Tap TX 3/8/1961. This will be confirmed once transferred. Also a couple of episodes of Badger's Bend, and the original print of the episode of HMS Paradise which has been out in the wild amongst collectors for a while. "As part of our work we're doing for Fountain Studios forthcoming celebration of Wembley studios that will mark the closure of this historic site later this year, I have been inspired to finally make an effort to get the Rediffusion haul from last year digitised and correctly identified. So, I've booked some time off work where I work with film and videotape all day to errrr work with more film and videotape all day! Obviously, it's a labour of love." - Tim Disney Stuart

Actually, I wonder if there's enough extant episodes now for Network to do a release?

While it would be good to get Boyd QC on DVD - for me it would be even better to get Badger's Bend which was my favourite TV programme before Doctor Who came along!

Actually, I wonder if there's enough extant episodes now for Network to do a release? That's My Boy! Well, they've been known to release the one or two surviving episodes of Our House,Knight Errant, and That's My Boy,so I don't see why not.Trouble is-if trouble is the right word-there seems a good chance that there are more Boyds out there.Today's wonderful announcement, the bit of an episode uploaded recently, and the intro to another uploaded for an hour or so a couple of years ago...Assuming that the last two aren't duplicated by the recent discoveries?
