I used to bunk off school to watch Marked Personal as I had a huge teenage crush on Stephanie Beacham in those days. Ahhhhh the memories .................the frustration !!

Thought the title rang a bell! These were shot at a "studio" in an industrial estate in Stonebridge Park, Wembley. London Weekend Television (Wembley Park) bought it from Intertel, a facilities company which was near bankruptcy at the time. We often had to stop rehearsals every 2minutes, as it was under the flight path into Heathrow at times, and the warehouse was not soundproof! Can't remember which company transmitted it, probably Thames. Don't remember if it went out live at 4pm, or we recorded it. Too busy sh**ing bricks when the red light was on, as we used 4 EMI 2005 cameras, (3-tube plumbicons) and our spare was the factory prototype, and all the circuit boards were hand made, the viewfinder was different, and none fitted the production ones. The sound desk was a one off from EMI, too! And a protype DTL lighting desk. Remember many a happy night at the pub near Alperton Underground Station with the cast. Stephanie was always there with the crew. A lovely lady. And, yes, she was partially deaf in those days, too.
