Had a question from someone that has me stumped. A TV series (or maybe movie) ???screened in the 70's about a girl who lived poor with her grandma on a river bank and had a pet bird, moved into a posh house and was dressed up and taken to a carnival. Don't know who was in it or what country it might have been from. Can someone please put me out of my misery?
