Here`s an interesting article from an Australian magazine from 1963. It`s all about Emerald Soup. An ABC Childrens programme from 1963. All episodes are believed to be missing. I am sorry if the article is hard to read, but the download file was not very big.

That was what most ITV regions was showing in November 1963 at 5.15pm on Saturdays show in direct competition against a timelord who claims to be 900 years living in a second hand police box that was beginning to be out of fashion At the time on the BBC.

It's interesting that the ITV regions didn't put their heads together to schedule a networked show opposite Doctor Who before Buck Rogers in 1980-1, at least going by the DWM features which used to mention what was being screened on other channels the same time as the episodes of a particular story.
The Fact Of Fiction doesn't seem to do this.

Yes, I can see it but the scan doesn't allow me to read the name or address of the company ( Itlooks like "......High Street LONDON W7)
