Dear all,
I have an old Snell & Wilcox Standards Converter, a DIP 9700A complete with flight case. Anyone interested? Free to a good home. It's an early 80's model, state of the art at the time and probably would have cost about £20k. Superceded now by better digital kit at a fraction of the cost, but it would be a shame to put it in a skip.

Hi Paul, probably a silly question but I'm not familiar with this bit of kit. Which standards does it cover? I presume we are talking PAL / NSTC sort of thing and not archive standards conversion such as 405 to 625, etc.

Oh that's a shame, they seem to do everything else, see attached URL. It might be worth contacting Aurora as, by the nature of their product they do very small production runs, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that they could help you? www.tech-retro.com/Aurora_Design/Single_Converter.html
