there have been a number of freewheelers dvd's on aebay recently, are these one offs or actual comercial releases?

Unofficial and, so I'm told, very nicely done. Doubtful the b/w episodes won't ever be released offically...best we can hope for. As Arnold Browne would say, "and why not."
