Can anyone tell me the archive status of the BBC production of Zola's 'Nana' which was broadcast to my certain memory in early 1970 on Friday nights, although I believe this may have been its second showing and it may therefore originally have aired in the 1960s.
If it still exists, has it made it onto DVD or video? I would really like to see this one again.

Sadly I believe that one episode is missing.

That's a blow. I suppose that means what is left will never see the light of day again.

Episodes one and two have been held on PAL for quite some time, episodes four and five were returned on NTSC a few years ago - what happened to the missing episode three (in either format!) is a mystery (albeit not a unique one).

Maybe this is a prime example of something which will probably never be commercially viable but could become available on a BBC online archive?
