I was considering posting some of my old fanfics at fanfiction.net. When I looked at some of the guidelines, story descriptions, and such, I noticed that "character death" came up every now and then. My initial reaction was, "This is old Doctor Who - of course there are character deaths." Then I realised that one of my stories, oddly, didn't have any characters actually dying in it.
Then I thought about it - the only stories I could come up with from the original run that did not have any deaths in them were "The Edge of Destruction" and "The Mind Robber" (of course, everyone besides The Master of the Land of Fiction and the mains are fictional characters in that universe). Does anyone have any other candidates?

The Book Of Lists has a few more, Fury From The Deep & Snakedance come to mind.

I disagree with both: the weed creature is sentient and dies in Fury from the Deep; similarly, the Mara dies in Snakedance. Granted, that's probably too picky.

. . . and "The Mind Robber" (of course, everyone besides The Master of the Land of Fiction and the mains are fictional characters in that universe) . . . Land of Fiction characters Cyrano de Bergerac and Blackbeard existed in real life

what about The Celestial Toymaker ? I inferred that everyone was once real people - but unlike the Doctor, Steven, and Dodo, they lost their games with the Toymaker. Thus, I consider them as already being dead and/or being killed again when the Doctor wins.
