I remember these really well. torontoist.com/2013/11/next-on-tvontario-doctor-who/www.blogto.com/city/2012/09/that_time_when_doctor_who_educated_ontario/www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOXE6oynZXYThey had one per episode broadcast. My personal favourite was from Episode Four of The Green Death, which began with, "Have you ever noticed how sexist this show often is?" It then shows the scene with Jo and Cliff in the lab that starts with her asking Cliff what he wants, he asks for coffee, she offers him the 'nice cup of arsenic', and then Jo eventually leaves the note about getting him a maggot. He then says that they sometimes try not to be, followed by a cut to Queen Thalira getting the "Women's Lib" talk from Sarah Jane. Then he says that still, its attitudes are clear - followed by several examples of Jo screaming, running in fear, etc.

Hi Lou: I had actually been in touch with him right around the same time that you made your first post - asking him if there was any chance that he might have copies of those commentaries - either his own or Judith Merrils. He does not unfortunately. He seemed pleased that he was remembered and since I shamelessly plugged my free eBook The Lost Lords of Time: Recons - Volume One (link avaialble in my signature) he said that he would have a look and be in touch again. He also mentioned that he had returned to Hawaii and that his commentaries for the second "Pertwee season" were filmed there. Here is a link to his page at the university - he's just retired last year but is still a professor emeritus there - www.futures.hawaii.edu/about-contact.html

Thanks, Hugh.
I love that Earthbound Timelords page. Before the telesnap reconstructions, those were what I read to try and get a feel for the missing episodes and how they would have been. Please thank everyone associated with that page that I really appreciated all their work.
