Today I was browsing the shop at the BFI and a new arrival was a 20 DVD presentation box of Sergeant Bilko. It was selling for £74. Apparently it was the complete series, with loads of added extras including documentaries, and the track of a 78rpm record.
I wonder if there are actually any missing eps. though?
Bilko was what I watched as a teenager and turned me onto t.v. comedy shows albeit with USA-style humour.
Sadly it is a long time since Bilko was aired in the UK. And £74 is rather a lot of money.

One of my favourite American comedies. Love the episode where they hide a racehorse at Fort Baxter and keep waking up the Col. at night. Still seriously funny.
