They just can't be honest about anything. I think a lot of this rumour rubbish could of been stopped if they were honest. Might be the lesser of 2 evils. If they say it might put discussions in doubt if they come clean. Then you have to ask yourself what went on with rumourgate, was that any less of a danger ? Most likely worse !

If they say it might put discussions in doubt if they come clean. Then you have to ask yourself what went on with rumourgate, was that any less of a danger ? Most likely worse ! With Bleeding Cool and DWO printing stories in 2013 about how many of the missing episodes were supposedly found, that seemed to light a fire that became the Omni-Rumor . The biggest problem is that any news about missing episodes is like pouring gasoline on a fire. DWO should have learned that from their Web of Fear report in 2007. If that report was credible all those years ago, I would think we would have heard at least something about The Enemy of the World being complete at that time, but the only thing we heard about was The Web of Fear. I was thinking that the animation for The Underwater Menace was first cancelled in 2014 because there was a belief that episodes 1 and 4 had a good chance of turning up within a reasonable amount of time. Then the animation was on again, so it appeared that episodes 1 and 4 were not coming back. Now The Underwater Menace is being pulled to be reassessed again to see if it is viable! If the cost of releasing it on DVD is a problem, maybe they should just put the restored version of episode 2 on iTunes so people can have the option to buy it if they want to.

I wouldn't mind if they would do an ITUNES VERSION with recons and bypass dvds. I would mind. I've spent 15 years collecting the DVDs, I want my collection to be complete. I have no interest in iTunes and wouldn't use it. As a collector, I need something physical to own.

I guess the range is dead then until they decide what, where and when.......

What about a special edition of LOST IN TIME with UM2 in place of EOTW and WOF? I'd go for that.

I am sure that re-issues will come out eventually, and with them the UM episode, you only have to look at how often other series are re-issued and re-packaged to know that this is inevitable. Patience, however, is not one of my virtues!!!

Like most of us I would rather like UM2 on DVD rather than download. However don't anyone hold their breath as my recollection of watching it on transmission is that it was so gripping I actually fell asleep. And I was a big fan then and still am. Episode 1 was more interesting.

Dr who fans are fickle. I remember a couple years ago reading posts of people believing the omni rumor saying they would not buy an animated dvd thinking this was a great plot to get more money from them.
Now they are complaining it still hasn't come out.
