This schools programme is listed as "existence unknown" so hopefully they all exist. In the meantime,I've been getting a bit more info by comparing the Lostshows listing www.lostshows.com/default.aspx?programme=d6f4ed93-2c80-4560-acfc-1baf8fa0440d with that at Broadcastforschools: www.broadcastforschools.co.uk/site/And_the_Living_of_It The latter gives us the unknown titles: 25/9/1969 How Like an Animal. 27/11/1969 The Transition From School to Work.(Said to be a TV drama. This seems to have been a working-title). 12/2/1970 Who Do I Join? 30/4/1970 Your State. 21/5/1970 I See. There is nothing listed for 30/10/1969,when no episode seems to have been broadcast?

And yet 'existence unknown' is code for "known, but not yet logged".I think. perhaps you with others can confirm the existence, is there something about the ATV archive that it hasn't all been catalogued yet, due to lack of funding, or have I imagined that and the archives are pretty well documented/catalogued. I hope there are still some ATV shows/series that haven't been catalogued yet, because I would like to hope that A Touch Of The Norman Vaughans, Ghost Squad Series 3 aka GS5, Market In Honey Lane Season 2, Driveway and the Play Of The Week..We Thought You'd Like To Be Ceasar 19/4/65..all currently listed as Missing, are still in the archives uncatalogued, I wonder if someone can advise us about this..

There are disagreements about 'The Time of Your Life'.Broadcast has the 25/11/1971 episode as 'A Social Hero',a title Lostshows doesn't have on its database. This means that it's impossible to know what the one surviving episode is called. Meanwhile,Lostshows has 'What Can You Do Here?' as 25/11/1971,while Broadcast has it as 2/12/1971.

EXistence unknown means that someone has typed it in the db, but hasn't told me so I haven't checked the holdings OR we are waiting for an answer about the holdings.
As for the ATV archive - ITV claim it is all very well catalogued but in my experience it isn't. A lot of card indexes not on computer yet.

Made a note for myself, to help me remember, regarding the meanings of Existence Unknown. As for the ATV archive, what you say...is heartening, I'm with John on this one, it gives hope for all manner of ATV output.
