There is a 1957 BBC appearance out there somewhere ,a very young James Page! You must be talking about the over used skiffle clip from Huw Wheldon Show, BBC TV 1957. Never seen the rediscovered interview before, interesting to view - so much for not making a living as a guitarist.

Yes, the Channel clip must have been uncovered when the archive was transferred / logged. It's accessibility has only been more recent (unlike the 1957 clip).

I'm so pleased that both these snippets survive.Wouldn't it have been wonderful if a local news report from Duluth-or is it Hibbing-showed a teenage Bob Dylan queuing to buy tickets for what proved to be Buddy Holly's last concert? And yes,that is quite macabre.
